Upper Rhondda Cricket Club - Walking in the Valleys for Young Cricketers (3rd Annual Sponsored Walk)
Upper Rhondda Cricket Club is proud to announce that we are once again walking in the stunning valleys of South Wales for a cause close to our hearts. For the third consecutive year, our members will be taking part in the Walking in the Valleys for Young Cricketers sponsored walk, a 35-mile challenge to raise vital funds for the development of our Junior section.
This year, we are aiming to build upon the success of previous fundraising efforts, which have allowed us to make significant strides in supporting the next generation of cricketers. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we’ve been able to purchase new coaching equipment, provide support to two of our talented Juniors who were selected for the Wales pathways team, and invest in much-needed facilities for winter nets, ensuring our young players have the resources to train year-round.
The money raised this year will continue to support our Junior cricketers, helping us fund further coaching resources, scholarships, and improve our facilities. Every penny raised will directly benefit our Juniors, helping them reach their full potential and continue to thrive in the sport we all love.
We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support of our community and supporters and look forward to another successful walk. Together, we can ensure the future of cricket in the Valleys remains bright, empowering the next generation of stars.
Thank you for your support!
