We are raising £750 to make sure every child can own a book at our first Pop-Up Book Event, hosted by The Herefordshire Reading Trust CIC.

Every child deserves the chance to fall in love with reading — and to have a book they can call their own. With your help, we’ll bring our very first Pop-Up Book Event directly to a local school or nursery, giving every child the opportunity to choose and take home a handpicked, engaging book — completely free.

£750 = one book for every child attending. (Worked out on average school size).

The Herefordshire Reading Trust CIC is a not-for-profit organisation working alongside The Children’s Bookshelf. We’re on a mission to reach children and young people—especially those from low-income backgrounds—through inclusive, inspiring book events that make reading accessible, joyful, and personal.
