Starting on Thursday 17th April at 4pm, a member of Slaithwaite Striders or NFG will carry our green baton around, and through the heart of Slaithwaite village.

Our goal is raise as much money and awareness for our chosen charity - Forronan, by have a Strider or NFG member circling the village continuously for 100 hours, until 7pm Monday 21st April.

As mentioned, we will be fundraising for Forronan which is a charity supported by donations and receives no direct funding from any official source.

FORRONAN is a community interest company set up to maintain the legacy of the late Ronan Costello who tragically lost his life aged just 17 years old playing rugby league for the Huddersfield Giants academy side in 2017. Their mission is to offer as many young people the opportunity to experience positive, impactful & exciting experiences that centre around our core values and have a very 'real' feel to them.
