A Mission to Provide Healthcare for Those Who Need It Most
Imagine needing urgent medical care, but the nearest doctor is miles away, and you can’t afford the journey—let alone the treatment. For thousands of people in rural Bangladesh, this is their heartbreaking reality.
About Haji Mokaddas Ali & Haji Alkuma Bibi Medical Centre
My name is Somshul Hoque, and I am the founder of Haji Mokaddas Ali & Haji Alkuma Bibi Medical Centre and registered charity M.S.H GOREEB TRUST. It has been my lifelong dream to open a medical centre for the poor in Bangladesh. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the struggles of families who couldn’t afford basic healthcare, and I knew I wanted to make a difference. My passion for helping my community has driven me to take action to ensure that no one has to suffer simply because they can’t afford a doctor’s visit.

This medical centre is more than just a building; it is a beacon of hope for the sick, the elderly, and the most vulnerable. With your support, we can turn it into a lifesaving facility for those in need. Together, we can bring compassionate, accessible healthcare to those who have been left behind.
The Build
Laying the foundations:

Building this medical centre has been a challenging journey, but with everyone’s support and prayers, we have successfully established it in a deprived area where hospitals are scarce. Our vision is simple:
✔️ Provide affordable healthcare.
✔️ Offer free treatment to the poorest.
However, while the building is ready, we urgently need donations to make it fully operational. Your support will help us fund electricity, doctors, nurses, medical staff, and life-saving equipment—ensuring that no one in the community is left without care.
The Healthcare Crisis in Bangladesh
Many must travel miles to the nearest hospital—a costly journey they often cannot afford.
Key Issues:
1. Lack of Hospitals & Doctors: The local village has no medical facilities nearby. Without this centre, villagers have to travel miles just to receive basic care.
2. Poverty & Suffering: A simple doctor's visit costs around 800 Taka (£5) in the town—a price many families can’t afford.
*That’s why we are creating this community medical centre, offering:*
✅ Half-price medical care (400 Taka - £2.50) for low-income families.
✅ Completely free healthcare for the most disadvantaged.
The Solution: A Medical Centre That Needs Your Support
The building is complete, but we urgently need funding to make it fully operational and provide essential healthcare services to the community. With your generous support, the Medical Centre will offer:
- general medical check-ups, including blood pressure and diabetes screening, as well as affordable and free medical consultations for those in need.
- Medication and prescriptions will be provided at reduced costs, with low-income families paying 400 Taka instead of 800 Taka. (In the future, we aim to expand services to include minor operations and advanced diagnostics).
- Your donations will help us hire doctors, nurses, and medical staff, as well as equip the centre with life-saving medical tools.
Together, we can ensure that everyone, regardless of financial status, has access to quality healthcare.

Goal: £10,000 – How You Can Help:
Donate Today – Any amount, big or small, makes a difference.
Share This Campaign – The more people who see this, the more lives we can save together.
Support the Cause – If you can’t donate, simply spreading the word can help us reach more supporters.
