Hi there, my name is Rachel a mum of 2 Locksheaths cricket club colts and a fairly new member of the ladies cricket team. I have done two seasons now with Locksheath and what a club it is. Friendly, inclusive, fun and is run by fantastic volunteers.

This year we are looking to improve the clubs facilities by replacing and improving the Score board ‘shack’ creating secure storage and a Score board that all can use (no more manual score boards for the U9’s to save the battery on the main board for the U13’s!!)

I am sure families of the club will know how valuable this will be to keep on updating and improving facilities to ensure the club can keep growing. To the local community - the current run down, unused shed will be replaced with a new structure fit for purpose and fully in keeping with the recreation ground.

We need our community to come together to help us in achieving our goal, sunny Saturday afternoons, relaxing watching a game of cricket, with the score for all to see!
