For the 4th year we are back taking part in the ‘Walking in the Valleys‘ initiative. Where we raise valuable funds that go to help out the junior section at Hopkinstown Cricket Club.

Hopkinstown had always had a healthy junior section with a pathway into the senior team, which kept the club very competitive amongst the local cricket leagues. But we did loose our way for around 10 years, where we had no junior section at all and missed out on valuable generations at the club.

4 years ago we started from scratch and got 1 junior team together and have been building ever since. We now have teams from u9s, right through to u17s with over 50 junior members.

The money we have raised so far has really helped the club provide new equipment, playing kits, training kits, practice equipment and lots more. We have also been able to keep junior subs low so the cricket is affordable for all our juniors.
