CHILDREN OF NATURE is going on tour... and you are invited to join the circle!
My name is Eve Shepherd, and I am an internationally renowned sculptor responsible for many major public commissions.
My latest project, Children of Nature, is a collaborative piece which is more than just an artwork. It's a community and a growing movement, with the aim to bring people together, reconnect us with nature and heal the deepest parts of ourselves through the magic of mycology.
Self-financed for the last two years, Children of Nature has never received any public funding and as such the costs have grown bigger than I can support alone - which is why I am reaching out to you for help.
Children of Nature has been selected for Breaking Convention this April - however, the minimum expenditure required to transport and install the artwork is £650. As my shoestring budget is now all but gone, I am asking for donations to enable me to cover the cost.
Whilst I’m hoping to raise £650 by mid- April, Breaking Convention is just a first step - I have a much bigger vision for Children of Nature! My aim is to tour the artwork more widely, to allow as many people as possible to collaborate in the work and awaken to the profound healing powers of fungi. As such, my overall goal is to raise £20,000.
Every contribution, no matter the size, is a vital step towards the success of Children of Nature, and I would be truly grateful if you could play a part in bringing this project to fruition. In return for your contribution I can offer:
£10 - signed digital image of the artwork
£50 - virtual tour and Q&A with the artist
£250 - as above plus your very own individual 'child of nature' sculpture
£1450 - virtual tour plus your own 'Spores' artwork - you can own a unique version of the Children of Nature circle!
