I'm aiming to raise £500 for pin badges, books, and other essential resources to kickstart the new Sign Ambassador Project at Appledore School. Thanks so much for visiting my JustGiving page! My fundraising will directly support Appledore Primary School's BSL Sign Ambassador Scheme, raising awareness about British Sign Language and, crucially, helping my profoundly deaf son Finbar communicate more easily with his classmates at school. These resources, such as BSL books and visual aids, will empower hearing students and staff to learn Finbar's natural language, creating a BSL-friendly environment where he feels fully included, understood, and able to participate in everything school offers, ultimately boosting his confidence and learning. This incredible project will also equip all the children with a valuable life skill.
